Macroeconomic assumptions and evolution of Bulgarian agriculture

Резюме: The main aim of this article is to review the contemporary evolution and trends in Bulgarian agriculture and to reveal challenges, direction of changes and the impact of different factors. One of the main factors influencing the development and changes in the agriculture and particular industries is the macroeconomic environment, including incomes, purchase power of the population, inflation, GDP deflator, exchange rates. The aspects of the impact of macroeconomic development are exposed, as based on those assumptions is made a trial for projecting of output, consumption, trade and production factors in Bulgarian agriculture. The main results from the study are linked with the identification of causes and factors affecting the present situation in Bulgarian agriculture and with analyzing possible changes in basic indicators and industrial trends in short term.
