The production of biogas in Bulgarian agriculture - current state and perspectives

Резюме: The aims of the article is to analyze the current state and the opportunities for development of the biogas sector for the processing of biomass from plant and animal substances from agriculture in Bulgaria. The following scientific methods were used in the study: comparative analysis, survey, expert evaluation, monographic method. The results of the analysis show that a large amount of organic waste is generated annually from our country’s agriculture to ensure sustainable biogas production. The positive -ecological and socio-economic effects of biogas production from agricultural biological waste were identified.
