Development of Agriculture in China

Резюме: China is one of the fastest developing countries in Asia and is occupying the second place regarding GDP. With territory of 9,5 million km2 China is ranking fourth in the world and is the most populated country with more than 1,3 billion people. In order to satisfy the need of food for 21% of the total population on Earth the Chinese government is developing quickly the Agriculture. The rural population is 760 million people. It is more than the urban population and the proportion is 56:44% and takes very important role for the development of economy. The Chinese government permanently is increasing the investment in Agriculture, takes measures for increasing the income of farmers using policy for harmonious development of villages and cities. In this branch are observed modern production as well as 200 million small farmers with 0,65 ha in average with low productivity and competitiveness of agricultural products. The Chinese village has big economic potential and new technologies are introduced in order the big demands of the market to be satisfied regarding quality and quantity of production. The agricultural production is developing quickly and the problem with the famine is completely solved. In December 2001 China has become a member of World Trade Organization. This event contributes for the development of International market and the whole world economy.
