The ecological culture of the Bulgarian agricultural producer - competitive advantage within the new CAP
P. Yovchevska
Abstract: In the report are presented results from empirical sociological survey, carried out in 2010 on the territory of Blagoevgrad district. The results are representative for the agricultural producers from the region, which is known as a small-scale production region. The high ecological culture of the respondents and their attitude for future economic activity registered by the sociological survey represents a potential possibility and competitive advantage for successful application of the new budget and reference frame of CAP which will apply after 2013. The results are showing that in the region exists sustainable correspondence between the natural resources and the agricultural activity. This is substantial pre-condition for preserving the ecological balance, landscape, nutrition safety and quality, which are main requirements for the producers and stemming from the latest amendments in the oldest community policy- CAP.
