The main exporting countries are divided into two major groups - the European countries with centuries of tradition, represented mostly from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, where production, consumption and trade in wine has deep roots and traditions. On the other hand countries of South America, Australia and Asia over the past 10-15 years, more and more - clearly stated positions and realize an increase in production, consumption and export of wine. In recent years, there is one group of countries as China, India, where there is a tendency to increase the consumption of wine. In recent years, increasing performance and trading volume of premium and varietals wines. At the same time, low priced wines and those with geographical indications lag in demand. In Bulgaria after 2007 a sustained drop in exported quantities of wine - a real reflection of reduced areas of low yields and poor age structure.
