Framework for Analyzing the System of Environmental Management in Agriculture

Abstract: This paper incorporates the interdisciplinary New Institutional Economics and suggests a holistic framework for analyzing, assessing and improving the system of environmental management in agriculture.First, a short revew on the state of economic studies in the area is made. After that, agro-eco-management and its scope are defined. Next, needs and mechanisms of agro-eco-management are presented. After that, institutional, behavioral, technological, natural etc. factors of agro-eco-management efficiency are identified. Next, Dicrete Structural Analisis is used and the principale market, private, and public modes for effective agro-eco-ecomanagment determined. Finaly, stages for analizing and improvement of ecomanagement in agriculture are presented.
