Effects from EU CAP Implementation on Development of Bulgarian Farms

Abstract: On the base of analysis of impacts of EU CAP implementation during 2007-2013 conclusions are made about the effects on organizational structures in agriculture. Assessment is made on impact of EU CAP as a whole and its individual instruments and mechanisms on restructuring, income, efficiency and competitiveness of agricultural farms of different type. Problems associated with utilization of European subsides and factors for improving impacts of CAP on farms are identified. Possibilities for public support and development of agricultural farms during the new program period (2014-2020) are specified.
