Opportunities for Applying The Foreign Experience in The Collaboration of Small Farmers in Bulgaria

Abstract: The purpose of this article is based on analyzing the problems of small farms in our country and assessing good practices of association of producers in the EU to bring out options and recommendations for creating networks of collaboration of farmers in Bulgaria. The structure of small farms has been the analyzes in the first part and the nature and main characteristics of network structures have been clarified. The second part presents two good practices (in Spain and Poland) to unite the farmers in networks of collaboration and benefits for individual farms from their participation in clusters. The effects of the association of farmers have been disclosed in the last part and some of the problems of poor distribution in Bulgaria of network structures are discussed.
