Common agricultural policy influence on the apple production and yield in Bulgaria
Monika Kabadzhova
Abstract: Agricultural land performs the unique production function. It is a major economic unit, as a resource in agriculture. The aim is to establish the CAP`influence on the apple production and yield in Bulgaria. The results
show that during the programming period 2007–2013 there is no connection between the number of registered farmers, the size of arable land and the size of harvested areas with fruit crops. During the programming period 2014–2020 the correlation coefficient indicates a positive relationship. In this line of thinking we find that the RDP 2014–2020 has contributed to the increase to a greater extent of the number of registered farmers (from 2014 to 2019), as well as to the increase of orchards than the RDP 2007–2013.
