Production specialization factor for increasing added value in the farms

Abstract: The production specialization of farms is among the main factors that affect the efficiency of their economic
activity and the competitiveness of the produced products. It is the reason for obtaining different added value
even using the same quantity and quality of production factors. The aim of the article is to analyze the production specialization of agricultural holdings in different regions of the country. The conclusions and assessments are based on the analysis of statistical information and results of surveys with experts and farmers. This gives the opportunity to be proposed recommendations for increasing the added value by changing or deepening the production specialization of the farms.
