Outsourcing in the Bulgarian Agricultural Enterprises. Does Such a Possibility Exist

Abstract: The worldwide dynamic and radical changes during the past two decades create new challenges for the enterprises. The global financial and the following it economic crisis complete and make more variegated the up mentioned mosaic. The outsourcing is an answer for numerous market performers to these challenges, with an upcoming trend of outsourcing utilization. All this rises in front of us the question whether this phenomena has a place in the agricultural sector. At the beginning of the publication we briefly characterize the outsourcing phenomena through its definition. After studying the trends we analyze the main models ¦ outer and inner outsourcing. Further on we answer the question: “What could be achieved through it?” paying meanwhile the necessary attention to the outsourcing risks and the successful outsourcing factors as well. We analyze the possible application of the outsourcing in the agricultural enterprises, giving examples with its utilization in the German agricultural enterprises, defending the thesis of its introduction as a manager’s strategy in the Bulgarian agricultural enterprises, emphasizing on the circumstance of the existing considerable experience and traditions of the Bulgarian agricultural holdings regarding this topic.
