Influence of the Fertilization and Soil Tillage on some Economic indicators in Growing of Wheat on Vertisols
E. VIDINOVA, R. TONCHEVA, H. PCHELAROVA
Резюме: Highly productive crop of wheat is influenced by complex interactions of soil environmental, agrotechnical and economic factors. It is known that 50 to 79% of grain yield is provided by fertilization with Nitrogen, Phosphorus and
Potassium. On the other hand, costs for fertilizers and submitting form about 30-40% of the cost of agricultural production. The aim of this article is to study the impact of fertilization rates and soil tillage systems on the productivity of wheat in field trials, to assess their significance and make recommendations to the practice. The study is based on a long-lasting field experiment with fertilization on Vertisols in the experimental station of the Institute of Soil Science “N. Pushkarov” in Bozhurishte. We studied two soil tillage systems of wheat under four fertilizer levels. The economic indicators:“dynamic productivity of wheat”, “total output (TP)”, “share of the cost of fertilizer from the total production (TP)”, “additional costs for fertilizer per unit additional production” is studied. The results of investigation show that fertilization can lead to an increase in yield by 50%; each unit of additional production requires additional costs for fertilizers; in this study the soil tillage system does not affect the productivity of wheat; economically
feasible fertilizing rate is N9P9K6.
