Some problems faced by Bulgarian agriculture and opportunities for solving them

Abstract: This publication aims at reviewing some major problems faced by agriculture in Bulgaria, since this is one of the basic economic sectors in the country. We also aim on the basis of that review to identify measures which should be adopted by the government in order to adapt the branch to EU functioning requirements and turn it into a prerequisite for economic growth. The research has employed the empirical approach and comparative economic analysis.
