Diversification of the Agro -Tourist Product as an Instrument for Reviving the Rural Economy

Abstract: The article discusses the agro-product diversification as an instrument for reviving Bulgaria’s rural economy. The objects of the study are the main parties involved in the development of rural and agricultural tourism, i.e. village houses and family hotels, village houses guests, the organs of the local authorities, various institutions. In addition, the article points out the necessity for diversification of agriculture. It also outlines the difficulties facing the formation of agrotourist products and summarizes the possibilities for developing a profitable, complex afro-tourist product in Bulgaria.
